The Thompson Warriors compete at the highest level of AHSAA classification, as a member of class 7a region three. Thompson fields 13 varsity teams with approximately 850 student-athletes supported by more than 30 full-time staff on the campus of Thompson High School  in Alabaster, Alabama.

 

High schools sports fans would be hard-pressed to find a program more on the rise as Alabaster grows and Thompson High School presses towards greatness. Thompson athletics have been a mainstay in the south shelby and Birmingham metro area for many years.
