2023 Thompson Athletics Game Day Information

On behalf of Alabaster City Schools, Thompson High School and the Warrior Athletic Department we are excited to welcome you to Thompson High School for game day. Please review the following information pertinent to game day. Included you will find information and directions that will be useful as you join us this year.
TRAFFIC AND PARKING
The area around Warrior Stadium will feature a specific traffic plan designed to ease entry and exit. ALL traffic
should enter campus from Thompson Road or Kent Dairy Road. General parking is located around campus for all vehicles not displaying a parking pass. Reserved parking is located on top of the hill in the yellow, green and red zones. You will find an enclosed map detailing the traffic and parking areas.
TICKETS AND SEATING
General admission tickets are available for purchase on GoFan or at the gate for $12.or $15
Credit Cards are our preferred method of payment at Warrior Stadium. Cash will be accepted.
Fans must enter through the designated gates on the East and West sides of the stadium. The designated “visitor” entry gates are on the East side of the stadium.
Sections 1-7 of the stadium, on the home, West side are designated for home crowd seating. Furthermore, there will be no access to sections 4, U4 & U5 without a marked ticket and/or pass. All other seating is designated as general admission. The visiting team will be seated on the East sideline in sections 8-12. All visitor seating is general admission.
PASS GATE
Fans entering through the pass gate will enter through a special access gate at the Northwest end of Warrior Stadium. Only individuals with approved credentials will be able to enter through the pass gate. AHSAA coaching cards will only be accepted at this gate.
ALL PASS AND CARD HOLDERS MUST ENTER AT THE PASS GATE.
COACHING CARDS
Coaching card carriers must enter through the pass gate, located at behind the field house at the East end of the stadium. Individuals entering via a coaching card will only be allowed seating in a general admission area. AHSAA rules apply
CREDENTIALS
Stadium access will be determined via authorized credentials. Access to areas other than ticketed areas, ie the press box, field or locker rooms will only be granted based on specific credentials and permissions. Credentialed individuals will not be allowed to access reserved seating without a numbered ticket.
STADIUM RULES & GUIDELINES
Announcements
Policy: Public address announcements are restricted to emergency situations only and must be requested through the Alabaster Police or Thompson High School Administration. Please dial 911 for emergency situations.
Backpacks and Bags
Purses, diaper bags and reasonably sized bags are permitted inside Warrior Stadium. However, all bags will be subject to search and inspection. Unattended bags will be removed immediately. CLEAR BAGS ARE RECOMMENDED
Thompson High School recommends fans only bring what is absolutely necessary with you to Thompson High School Athletics venues - phone, wallet, money, credit cards, car keys. Please leave all unnecessary items at home or in your vehicle. Backpacks and bags may not be stored at the gates or outside of the venue - any unattended bags will be confiscated and removed immediately (all items will be discarded). Thompson High School Athletics is not responsible for the care or security of any items left unattended.
Banners, Poles & Umbrellas
Policy: Banners may NOT be hung and poles may NOT be brought into Warrior Stadium unless approved by Thompson High School Athletic Administration. Banners or poles in Warrior Stadium can be a nuisance to other fans by obstructing their view of the game and can create safety concerns for those in the area. Umbrellas are NOT permitted in Warrior Stadium
Beverage Policy (Alcohol)
Policy: The possession or consumption of alcohol in areas of Warrior Stadium and on any Alabaster City Schools campus is expressly prohibited. Stadium personnel and law enforcement agencies will enforce this policy. Persons who are intoxicated or who are in possession of alcohol are subject to ejection from the stadium. No outside food and drink will be allowed in Warrior Stadium
Cameras
Policy: Cameras are permitted in Warrior Stadium for both fans and working news media. All photos taken in Warrior Stadium must be for editorial or personal use only and may not be used for advertising, promotions or other trade purposes, or any other commercial, for profit or promotional endeavor, without the permission of Thompson High School. Contact the Thompson High School Athletic Department at (205) 685-6700 Ext. 6779 with any questions.
Re-Entry to Warrior Stadium
Policy: No Passes Out. You may not re-enter Warrior Stadium.
Smoking & Tobacco Use
Policy: Smoking and the use of all tobacco products or vapes on any Alabaster City Schools campus is prohibited. This prohibition applies to all individuals while on any ACS campus, including faculty, staff, students, administrators, contractors, and visitors. Cigarettes, e-cigarettes, cigars, smokeless tobacco, snuff, pipes, vapes and chewing tobacco are not permitted.
Starting Times
Policy: All Thompson High School home football games are scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. Central time, In accordance with AHSAA policy, unless otherwise stated.
Thrown Objects
Policy: The throwing of objects from the stands is strictly prohibited and is cause for immediate ejection.
Tickets, Seating and Entry
Policy: Gates will open at two hours prior to kickoff. Fans must enter through the gates along the East and West concourse of the stadium. Fans entering through the pass gate will enter through a gate at the North end of Warrior Stadium next to the Tennis Courts. Only individuals with approved credentials will be able to enter through the pass gate.
Stadium access will be determined via authorized credentials. Access to areas other than ticketed areas, ie the press box, field or locker rooms will only be granted based on specific credentials and permissions. Coaching card carriers must enter through the pass gate and will only be allowed seating in a general admission area. Reserved seating areas will be monitored for proper tickets.
Video Cameras
Policy: Video cameras are not permitted in Warrior Stadium except for the working news media.
Pets and animals
Policy: Pets and animals are prohibited within Warrior Stadium. Service animals with proper documentation are permitted.
