Baseball

This week: Monday, at Spain Park; Tuesday, at Tuscaloosa County; vs. Tuscaloosa County (doubleheader); Saturday, vs. Enterprise and Hillcrest.

Notes: J.C. Parker and Myles Arrington each had a RBI in first game vs. Hoover.

Softball

Last week: Beat Vestavia 17-0 Date: April 5, beat Hillcrest 12-4.

This week: Tuesday, at Tuscaloosa County; Thursday, vs. Hoover.

Notes: In win over Vestavia Hills, Bailey Whitfield threw a complete game shutout; Kennedy Foote went 2-for-4 with a grand slam in the 1st and a double in the 4th with 6 RBIs; Lauren Haskins also had a HR in the 4th. In win over Hillcrest, Lauren Haskins two hits, two home runs, five RBI; Madison Holtzapfel was the winning pitcher; Kennedy Foote also had a HR.

Golf

This week: Tuesday, vs. Shelby County, Ballantrae Golf Club; Thursday, vs. Vestavia.

Tennis

This week: at Mountain Brook; Wednesday, vs. Jemison; Friday vs. Oxford.

Boys’ soccer

Last week: beat Southside 6-0; beat Tuscaloosa County 10-0.

This week: Date: Tuesday, vs. Benjamin Russell; Thursday, at Vestavia Hills.

Notes: vs. Southside: Cole Hadley, Lupe, Jahir Hernandez Tena each had a goal, Jackson Hall had three goals. Boys JV mercy ruled Southside 10-0. Vs. Tuscaloosa County: Goals: Konnor Fulford had three goals, Jackson Hall, Lupe and Sy Garrett two each, Cole Hadley had one.

Girls’ soccer

Last week: lost to Homewood 2-1; beat Tuscaloosa County 6-0.

This week: Today, at John Carroll Catholic Date; Friday, at Hoover

Notes: vs. Homewood, Emma Mayer had a goal. Vs. Tuscaloosa County, Thompson completed a season sweep of Tuscaloosa County on Senior Night. Tuscaloosa County did not record a shot all game, thanks to Thompson defense.
