Williams Throws Shutout As Thompson Warriors Varsity Defeats Tuscaloosa County
Drew Williams didn't allow a single run as Thompson Warriors Varsity defeated Tuscaloosa County 2-0 on Tuesday. Williams allowed just two hits and induced a groundout from Jordan Moore to end the game.
Thompson Warriors Varsity didn't take the lead until later in the game. With two outs in the sixth inning Chris Lewis drove in two runs when he doubled.
A single by Eli Benton in the fifth inning was a positive for Tuscaloosa County.
