Thompson Warriors Wins Back-And-Forth Affair Against Hartselle

Thompson Warriors and Hartselle traded the lead back-and-forth on Wednesday, but eventually Thompson Warriors prevailed 7-5. Thompson Warriors took the lead for good in the fourth inning. Thompson Warriors trailed 3-2 in the top of the fourth inning when Kendall DeRamus doubled, driving in two runs.

Thompson Warriors captured the lead in the first inning. Madison Bubel's sac fly scored one run for Thompson Warriors .

Hartselle knotted the game up at one in the bottom of the first inning. PlayerD doubled on a 2-2 count in the first inning, scoring one run.

Bailey Whitfield earned the win for Thompson Warriors . She went four innings, surrendering three runs, eight hits, and striking out two. Heaven Rodgers threw , as two relievers helped Thompson Warriors finish off the victory.

Thompson Warriors collected ten hits. Kendall DeRamus, Lauren Haskins, and Bubel each collected multiple hits for Thompson Warriors . Bubel and DeRamus each drove in two runs to lead Thompson Warriors . Thompson Warriors didn't commit a single error in the field. Kelsey Edwards had the most chances in the field with five.

Hartselle had nine hits in the game. PlayerD and PlayerF each collected multiple hits for Hartselle.
